James is a qualified and registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner. He is a member of:

  • Chinese Medicine Registration Board of Australia (CMRB)
  • Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Australian Natural Therapies Association (ANTA)

He holds a Bachelor degree in Health Science – Chinese Medicine, and practices Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and Dispensery. Not only can he prescribe herbal formulas, but he can also mix herbal formulas based on a client’s specific requirements

He studied in Melbourne at the Southern School of Natural Therapies and did an internship at Tzu Chi Hospital in Taipei Taiwan.

James is the principle practitioner and owner of Pivotal Chinese Medicine clinic in Yarraville. He started his clinic in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs to share his passion on health and well being to his clients. In doing so, he followed in the footsteps of his grandfather and great grandfather who also practised Chinese Medicine in China.

He provides a holistic approach to treatments and has a keen interest in Womens and Mens Health issues, Stress, Anxiety and Depression, Low Energy and Fatigue, and Musculoskeletal problems, however he also treats many common ailments such as common cold, poor immunity and digestive issues. He focuses on restoring the balance of Yin and Yang by treating the overall well being of his clients and assisting with nutrition and dietary advice.

​He also helps clients who are sufferring from long-covid to restore their energy and good health.

Flora is a qualified and registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner. She is a member of:

  • Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture Society of Australia (CMASA)

Flora graduated from Southern School of Natural Therapies in Australia with a Bachelor degree of Health Science in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Completed her clinical internship at Tzu Chi Hospital in Taipei Taiwan.

​She was brought up in a Chinese family and has personally experienced the effectiveness of Traditional Chinese Medicine since young. With her Chinese culture, the traditional principles of holistic wellness has always been part of her life.

​Flora’s practice encourages people to get to know their bodies and how to create a balanced lifestyle while living respectfully in our environment and during different seasons. As a gentle, caring and compassionate Chinese Medicine practitioner who is dedicated to guide her patients to improve their quality of health and lifestyle through the balance of Yin and Yang which is the core principle.of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Flora is a mother of a beautiful girl and ever since through the pregnancy and postnatal journey, she has widened her understanding in the support required for the couples and experienced the importance of preconception and postpartum recovery. As well as discovering special interests in women’s health, pregnancy and birth support, stress related issues and pain management.

Her hobbies revolve around cooking and practicing Qi Gong exercises to keep herself free from stress and maintaining balance between mind and body. Flora’s keen interests and understanding in Food Therapy, how TCM influences traditional food and cooking. She believes a balanced meal is the most optimal solution to your health and well being. Often infusing Chinese herbs into her cooking such as soup, tea and dishes to create what’s not only delicious but healthy.
